The breeder gives you the current price plainly when you talk through your plans, and then confirms it in writing before any reservation.
A current price, not an old figure left online
The previous website did not publish an up to date price list. Rather than show a historic figure that could mislead a family, La Plaine d’Astrée confirms the price for the litter concerned and for your plans when you talk together.
The amount and the terms are given to you before the reservation contract is signed. No payment is asked for until a puppy has been confirmed as available for your family.

Budget for his life as a large dog as well
The purchase price is only one part of the plan. A Pyrenean Mountain Dog needs food suited to his size, veterinary care, sturdy equipment, genuinely secure fencing and time for his training. You also need to allow for unexpected health costs, for travel and for arrangements when you are away.
All of this is part of the conversation with the breeder: the aim is to make sure that having the dog at home will remain comfortable for the whole family over the years.

Why is the exact amount not shown?
Because an old price quickly becomes misleading. The breeder confirms the amount currently charged, in writing and before you commit to anything.
When do you find out the price?
When you talk through your plans and, in every case, before the reservation contract is signed and before any payment.
Does a reservation guarantee one particular puppy?
No. A kennel works with living animals. Availability has to be confirmed first, and each puppy is then matched taking account of his temperament and of the family’s way of life.
Is an adult dog sometimes available?
Availability changes, and it should never be assumed from an old announcement. The litters page and the breeder always give the current position.
